now available: “The Moment Has Passed: Power After Arendt.”

I have never been Peter Euben’s student in any formal way, but I’ve been learning from him, first as a reader, then as a colleague and friend, ever since I picked up a copy of The Tragedy of Political Theory in Cody’s Books in Berkeley in 1991. It’s a privilege to be able to help honor his work and his example of playful seriousness and democratic learnedness with a contribution to the great volume that Rom Coles, Mark Reinhardt, and George Shulman have edited, and which has just been published by the University Press of Kentucky: Radical Future Pasts: Untimely Political Theory.  Thank you, Rom, Mark, George, and especially Peter!
